Acceptable Use Policy

Scarlett Vision Media Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Scarlett Vision Media ("SVM") is built to support entrepreneurs and brands, whether you’re launching your first product, scaling to new markets, or reshaping your industry. Our mission is to empower you to build and grow your business on your terms and provide tools and services that give you real control over how you do it. That mindset shapes how we design our software and guides our expectations for how you use it.

Like any business owner knows, the responsibility ultimately lies with you. Our core rule is simple — you’re responsible for complying with the rules of your platform, your partners, and the law. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

You can’t use SVM to engage in illegal activities.

Wherever you do business, you must comply with relevant local, state, and federal laws. We understand that regulations can be complex, but by choosing a market or offering a specific product, you signal your commitment to operating legally and ethically. For example, you may not use SVM to store or process Protected Health Information (PHI) governed by HIPAA, as our platform does not support those use cases.

You must respect the integrity of commerce.

We prohibit activities that violate the foundational principles of ethical business. This means no inciting or threatening violence and no selling products intended to cause deliberate self-harm. SVM is not a space for hate speech, abuse, or manipulation, and we take violations seriously.

You must follow our Terms and policies.

Our Terms of Service and related agreements aren’t just boilerplate — they define the structure and responsibilities of your relationship with SVM. By using our services, you agree to abide by these policies.

Partner-integrated services have additional requirements.

Some of the services we offer rely on trusted partners — whether for hosting, payment processing, email communication, or analytics. Using these services means you also agree to any associated terms, including those from payment processors, banks, or other providers that help us deliver the SVM platform.

External channel rules may apply.

If you're selling through third-party marketplaces or using external ad platforms via SVM integrations, you must comply with those platforms’ rules. Their eligibility standards are separate and often more restrictive than ours, so understanding their terms is part of your responsibility.

Product takedown issues often come from outside SVM.

We’re a technology provider, not a regulator or an arbiter of intellectual property. Most product eligibility disputes, takedowns, or notices will originate from third parties like regulators or IP holders. In these cases, we’ll notify you and provide tools or guidance to help you manage the situation.

We expect good faith from all users — abuse may lead to account-level action.

If you attempt to game the system, evade platform constraints, or use SVM for malicious purposes — including fraud, spam, misrepresentation, or data scraping — we may take action. While we generally default to product-level enforcement first, we reserve the right to escalate to account-level actions, including suspension or termination, if we determine it is necessary.

Our principles may evolve — and we’ll let you know when they do.

As our platform grows and laws change, we may need to update this policy. When we do, we’ll give you notice and the opportunity to review and adjust accordingly.
